Mopar 360 rich bog ?
Quote from 71Fury on February 16, 2020, 11:40 amGood morning all. I recently had a 360 built for a 71 Fury . I was toying with the idea of running E85 in the future so i purchased a used Fitech unit. So far it has been pretty nice to work with but I’m having a bit of a BOG ? or a stumble , maybe its a Ping ( i dunno ) when i stand on it or its otherwise on a heavy load . The car is around 4200lbs . I noticed the issue originally with my 2.71 gears and attributed it to my desert gears. I just put 3.90s in it and is still has the issue. Im running a 195 stat , New plugs , new air cleaner , Fitech and Mallory is running right off the Battery , I have a ground off the throttle body to the firewall . Fuel pump is in tank Hyperfuel 40015 (currently running no filter besides the in tank sock that came with pump). I’m not sure what fuel pressure is running but i would think it would lean out if it was a fuel issue.
Its a 360 .30 over, pre Magnum swirl port heads with 1.6 rockers, Comp cam Purple .484 lift ( i forget duration ) Edelbrock air gap intake and should be about 10.4 CR . Car has factory manifolds to straight pipes to glass packs (hence why I can’t hear if it’s a PING though with AFR i would think it wouldn't be )
I have attached 2 snips of logs ( couldn't figure out how to attach an excel workbook ) . 1 from last week . And this maybe unrelated but it threw 2 codes # 36 & #105 then cleared up quickly . And 1 from yesterday after I backed off timing advance to see if that would alleviate issue it appears AFR didnt go as rich after the timing was tweaked . The car certainly felt like it had a lot more power but still had the issue when it got loaded down .Im certainly new to this so its very possible i missed something stupid
Thanks in advance
