Need advice on purchase of 30003
Was looking at a new one and saw a refurbed one on FB marketplace. Offered with the receipt. Selling due to going to a big block with different brand higher hp FI. Talked to the seller and the bung not included. Figured that, didn't expect gaskets, or other stuff like that. When I received, it was only the throttle body and handheld, nothing else, no sensors, cables, manual. He says I shouldn't expect that, my opinion is that I was buying a used kit, not just a throttle body. It was advertised as a carb replacement with a link to the Fitech description, not just a throttle body. I can return it and get refunded, but don't want to be unreasonable. What say you?
Personally, I would return it, if you are lucky. I would never buy a used Fitech Fi Throttle body unit, unless I saw it running.You also dont know if this is generation 1 of the 30003 or Gen 2 ( external relay and fuses).The sensors are part of the throttle body, other than the O2 and temp sensor. You will also need to order a harness for the unit. Not worth the hassle unless you know it runs and the price was really cheap.
