New FI32858 1200 port injection running issues

Hi,

I'm new to Fi-Tech.  Was told these are the bomb but I can't seem to get the car performing as it it should.  I have wired to the battery, have 4 different grounds going from engine to frame, body, and battery.  Battery is mounted in the truck.  Do have a separate 10 Gage wire for the Fi-Tech.  Have it set at 58 lbs of fuel pressure.  Won't idle when decel going down a hill or coming off of the freeway.  Intermittent rpm goes to 59000 and controller blanks out for a split second.  This typically happens between 2500 and 3000 rpm.

I have set the DFCO to 300 but it is ticking down now to 295.

Temperature is anywhere from right on to 20 under.  I just installed a 180 thermostat so it would stay in the learning mode.  Don't know if this helped.

Have set to 302, #2 cam, vr coil as I do have a MSD 6A and the blue wire is grounded. I do have software version 198I on my go port efi controller.

Looking forward to hearing from you so I can at least starting driving it with out worry.

Thank you.

You have electrical interference with the "Blue" wire and your CTS needs replaced with the recommended Delco version.  Blue wire shielding technique can be found in the Electrical section.  CTS link is in the Parts and Accessories post.

Hi Austin,

Thank you for your reply. I did already change out the CTS.  I will work on shielding the blue wire and let you know.

Did you see anything else or any settings that need to be changed?

You sent a lot of logs.  Get your electrical issue fixed.  Then share a 30 second idle datalog at operating temperature only.  We can start from there.
