New Install - IAC / idle setup problems

I just finished installing a Go Street 400HP master kit system with inline pump on a 1985 Chevy C10 305CID and I'm really struggling with setting up the IAC.

The idle is anywhere from 1400RPM to 2000+ and I can never get the IAC steps off zero, no matter how far I back off the screw. The only advice that FiTech tech support gave was that it looked like a vacuum leak. I have all ports on the throttle body caped and have tried both the carb cleaner and water spray tricks for locating leaks to no success.

Initially, I was using stock manifold with Mr. Gasket spread to square bore adapter. Thinking this was another potential leak area, I went ahead and installed a brand new Edelbrock manifold, painstakingly cleaning all mating surfaces and using a high quality gasket set. Nothing has changed at all, still idles high and IAC steps stuck at 0.

I have cam set on 1 (motor is bone stock), but have tried other settings and it didn't make any difference until I got up to 4 (at that point the idle will bounce around between about 600 and 1200).

Any other suggestions on what to do next?

It would be interesting to look at a log file to see what you vacuum is primarily.

I'll try to get a datalog done tonight

I've tried a bunch of things on this, but the final thing that seemed to make an actual difference was attaching a ground wire to throttle body (saw that somewhere on here as a suggestion for other issues).

Also, I can't get the USB to connect to my computer to download the datalogs (just get a "time out" message on the handheld) - any thoughts on that?
