New to fuel injection & need tuning help/tips/suggestions for my LS3 1967 GTO

Hey y’all, this is my first post on here and I’m really glad I found this forum.

I recently installed the 750HP Ultimate LS kit on my LS3 swapped 1967 GTO, and really need some help with getting it dialed in. This is my first time using fuel injection (almost all my car experience up to this point has been with carburetors) and I have no idea what the hell I’m doing or what settings to use to get this motor running properly.

On cold and warm starts I have to press the pedal a few times and rev it up before it will settle into an idle, it will stall if I don’t. After putting it into gear it will stall if I don’t keep feathering the pedal which isn’t always possible. It always happens in reverse and frequently in drive. Once it gets going it idles fine but will still stall occasionally.

It does not like WOT or anything with a halfway pedal press above 4500RPM, it breaks up and spits and pops like crazy while Struggling to shift. definitely have heard a few backfires. City street and highway driving with light acceleration are okay but still lacking.

I know what the problems are & if it was a carburetor I know how to solve them. I do not know even where to begin with fuel injection though. All of the options and parameter settings are overwhelming.

I really need some help with this y’all, like really badly. Any tips/suggestions on what settings to focus on & starting point values, sharing your settings, or if you know anyone who can remote tune Fitech systems will all be greatly appreciated 🙏

Where you located?  May be some local help for you.

Check out Fitech Tech Tuesday videos.  Watch the one on how to datalog.  Record a 2 minute datalog at idle and over 170 water temp.  Want to see some simple data first.

3 lines of data per second.  Keep it short.

I have watched those videos, and I do know how to data log 😎 how do I get a data log to you, Post it on here? Thanks for the reply. By the way.

In this reply box there is a spot to upload a file.  Simply add to your reply.

If you are near Fort Worth, we can set an appointment to tune your car.  Starts at $300 and included some one on one training for you.

Also have a place in Northern Oklahoma, if closer to you.

So I’m down in Austin, and totally willing to drive up to Fort Worth. I drive to Dallas fairly regularly anyways so that’s an easy drive for me. I will take you up on that offer! Many thanks 🙏  Let’s exchange phone numbers and figure out a date and time.

in the meantime though, I will get a data log recorded and posted on here.

I can definitely get you fixed up.
