I have the 600hp PA unit on a bone stock L31 vortec crate motor. I have an edelbrock rpm air-gap for vortec heads, full length headers and 2.5" exhaust. The engine will eventually get a much more aggressive cam and head work. Figured it would be best to learn the oddities with this system while the engine was tolerant of mistakes. For instance, the fitech provided water temp sensor read 40 degrees low. Replaced it with the sensor from the 4.3v6 that used be in the truck, problem solved. The fitech inline 255lph fuel pump died on me last week with about 5k miles on it. Replaced it with an aeromotive stealth in-tank pump. Made an immediate in the way the truck runs.
