No Start Issue
Quote from rlbjr69 on October 28, 2020, 11:43 amFirst let me say I love the forum and have found so many answers to my questions. It's been a life saver. Unfortunately I'm having an issue that I can't see to find in the searches. I've had my FiTech for about a year now with minimal issues. I was out driving my ElCo over the weekend and ran out of gas. I put 5 gallons in and it fired right up. I drove ~3 miles down the road and shut it off to go into a store. When I came back out it would not start. After some time passed I was able to get it started and drove home. When I got home and shut it off it would not start again. I've been trying to get it started every since with no luck.
I have made sure the battery is fully charged. Did a hard re-set of the computer to see if something had been corrupted. Confirmed I'm getting fuel to the TB. When I turn the key on I can hear the system energizing but I don't hear the "shot" of fuel.
Has anyone had any experience with what happens when you run the system out of gas? Is there a known issue that can occur? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Not happy I had to replace the ECU after just over 12 months of use but thankfully the cost was reasonable at only $235. Now I need to go back and make all of the tuning changes that were on the other ECU. But at least she runs now.
