Any of your settings can be changed on the fly, except for your basic settings I believe.  I change my AFR, Accel and timing on the fly.  Make sure to send each change to ecu though.  If you make one change, then change another, then send to ecu, you will lose your first change.

I'm worried about doing that and causing it to stop running. All I really care to change is accel pump settings.
