Problem

Hello, this is my first post. I am having issues with my system. It is the mean street 600hp system on a chevy 383. It is running a Holley sniper fuel tank and a walbro  255 in tank pump.

it starts great, and cruises great but when I mash the throttle it bogs and when going WOT it doesn’t want to go past 4K.

the last couple of days it has started to die at idle and feels like it is coughing at cruise.

I double checked the IAC steps, no fault codes, replaced the fuel filter, no vacuum leaks. Adjusted the fast accel and accel pump and made no difference in the bog.

First of all, check your plugs to make sure they are not fouled out.  Second, create a log file at operating temp > 170 at idle and with the issue, and post it on dropbox so we can see what's happening.  Do you have a fuel pressure gauge at the fitech inlet to see what the fuel pressure is?  That's important for many reasons.  Are you getting > 11 volts while cranking the engine over at the fitech power wire?  If not, the fitech will not initialize correctly and will give you fits.

Are you getting any fault codes?

I am starting to have the same issues.  I'm going to try the IAC adjustments noted in a more recent post.  I was nearly ready to order a Sniper, but will try a bit more.  Did you find a solution to your problem?  Mine is cutting out at 4800 RPM and showing 0 RPM

I did get fault codes

P0505 IAC recently

P0335 RPM noise has popped up since install 1 year ago

this may seem silly but there is a rpm limiter in the pro tunning and set up i think its default is 5000
