RAD FANS

Hey Guys,

Good news the Omega 5.3 is running the bad news no rad fans. Need help with rad fan info for the 70051 ULTIMATE LS standalone system I am running dual rad fans right now I have fan 1 lead to one relay and the fan 2 lead to the other relay so only 2 relays used I tried setting them for 190 on and 185 off but neither kicked in so not sure this is a setting in the hand held or wired the relays wrong or should I have 3 relays? I am only running one battery does some one have a pic of what I should be using in settings on the handheld as I may have some settings wrong, and if I am to use 3 relays a diagram of how to wire them would be awesome. I have posted a pic of a 3 relay set up I would need to no the settings for in the handheld for this set up to go with it but do I really need it? or can I just use the 2 relays and just set them up wrong??? Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance!!

Why you would think of using 3 relays is way beyond me.  That kind of complication would require a lot a beer to figure out.

So lets wire one fan.  The 30 terminal is fused hot from battery.  I would use 10 or 12 gauge wire.  The 87 terminal is directly across from the 30 terminal and should use the same gauge wire as the 30 terminal.  The 86 terminal is ignition hot wire and the 85 terminal should be connected to the wire from the Fitech.  You can test your setup by making a test wire to plug into the 85 terminal and grounding that wire to turn on the fan.

Got the fans working 🙂

after it sits for a bit seems to be hard to start. Unfortunately have not had the opportunity to drive it yet so may actually boot around for a bit once the drive shaft is shortened.
