Retro LS... need some pointers

I have a Retro Ls system running my 6.0 (LQ9) with a 4L85E trans. Super mild cam pulls 13 inches at idle (when the idle is good/smooth). Fuel pressure is rock solid @ 58psi. All grounds and power are clean. Full exhaust. Good oil pressure. No intake/vaccum/exhaust leaks. Getting good VSS signals and great shifts/trans performance.

Here are the issues I'm having with about 100 miles on the new setup...

Rough idle, Sometimes very difficult to get started and stay started

very little power until higher RPM's but even then not great. ( I know I'm fighting a bit of torque converter stall and have a higher stall converter coming soon)

Seems to be ruining very rich, but its hard to know if the poor mileage is tied to the performance and I suspect it is.

I had to reinstall the ECM software when I was first trying to start it. Not sure if there is something going on with the ECM that needs attention.

Speedo output seems to be incompatible with aftermarket speedometer, reads a little less than half the correct speed, even though the handheld shows the correct speed (referenced against gps). Could use a little guidance on settings for this if there are any.

Also I'm not sure what the dwell setting in the initial setup should be. I'm running the truck coils form the escalade that the motor came from. Should the dwell setting be "old ls1" or ls2up?

Thats about it. Probably too many questions for one thread but I could not find other threads to jump into with similar issues. Thanks in advance for your help.
