running hot 545 blown 871 dual power adder

couldn't find my old thread I think this belongs here,, I have a 460 stroked to 545 cubic inches new build 8 hrs on it, it has a new don Hampton supercharger 871, and the dual power adder fitech the problem is it would steadily heat up to 240 before I shut it down and diagnosing the issue started here we set iac we set afr warm afr fuel shot cam 1234 fuel pumps in the hyper fuel nothing made a difference, so I went to badasscars.com and they have built some of the biggest and badest race engines out there, here are the changes I went through 3 radiators a northern a be cool and currently a frostbite, several fan combos dual 14 4000 cfm single 19 5000 cfm to now dual perma cool 13 at 7000 cfm all in all 1500.00  in cooling mods, I tore the top end down removed the heads checked proper installation of the head gaskets and used mls style now, I have used a restrictor in the water neck a 160,180,190 stats and still no luck I also boroscope the engine block heads intake and electric water pump no restrictions I am by no means a ford guy I am a Chevy guy for 30 years so now I called BDS they said my blower pulley combo isn't right,, odd seeing as I bought the blower from don Hampton himself he has been doing blower since 1960, but ok ill bite the old combo 34t bottom and a 31t top put me at 14:1 after 3000 rpm and a extremely high blower speed at idle and with any compressor it makes allot of heat so I went from 12 percent overdriven to 10.9 percent under that puts me at 12:1 at 3000 with a boost reference fuel afr of 11:8:1 now when you put your engines together PAY ATTENTION to the very small detail I did not catch this on the big block ford being a chevy guy I never looked into it, i now called don Hampton he said set the timing at 36 use some type of retard for starting and run it well I did that still every few seconds a 2 degrees increase in temp to 240, so I was reassembling the enginee for the 3rd time, and as I set the intake down on the heads I seen light a 1/4 space of light I measured the ports the blower intake has "cobra jet scj) ports the aluminum heads have "thunderjet ports" way smaller I used the scj gaskets with rtv inlay and checked it no light a good seal I used the boroscope to verify this now I also went and re adjusted every valve by cylinder on the base circle of the cam 1 at a time turning the motor 90 degrees each time I installed the blue moroso water restrictor and just to go back about the head gaskets on the 460 thr drivers side will go DECK SIDE up and FRONT FORWARD or you will block of the rear water passage to the head water will just sit there and get hot (FYI) now it wouldn't start because the whole thing is now changed because it isn't lean as yuck LOL so I had to re set timing, readjust my afr readjust my IAC steps re set idle, all my other setting in the fitech was good so everything we did here was accurate and very helpful no I waited till it was 85 out the car is in a metal garage it about a 110 in there I set my 36"barrel fan in front of the front bumper I started the car it ran for about 45 mins and then stayed at 210 for another 15 or 20 minutes so all in my issue was two fold  1 the intake gaskets wrong 50.00 bucks blower pulley ratio wrong verify do the math 150.00 bucks paying attention priceless,,,,, i spent 1500.00 in stuff that wasn't the problem but I have a top of the line set up from radiator to rear end and oil pan to air cleaner there is allot of great knowledge and people here to help and share info this site is invaluable eventually you will get the answer or know where to get it.

Wow!!!! Damn Fords....

I saw you were logged in earlier.  Hadn't seen you in a while.

What a nightmare, but glad you found the issue.  I think we should still blame it on the Fitech.😂😂😂
