Accessories

Throttle Bushing

When attaching throttle, I recommend you use the large hole on the Fitech linkage.  I advise you use a solid metal bushing as the rubber and plastic ones flex with the heavy return spring.  Everybodies throttle rod or cable will be different, but here is an example.  https://amzn.to/2VYzclH

Will the Walboro pumps work with the PWM of the Fitech system? If not, what is done in the setup to over come that? I've been using Tanksinc.com for tanks and pumps and now have a 1992 Silverado that only needs a pump in the tank. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I know of guys that have used PWM on these pumps.  Can't find any literature that says that it doesn't.

The funny part is, Tanksinc uses Walboro pumps. When ordering from Tanksinc and you mention using the FiTech there is a specific pump for the PWM. I've called Walboro and they say they don't have pumps for PWM. I just found it rather interesting. Thanks Austin for taking the time to put together this parts list. All the best,

What type/brand/model of Fuel filter do you guys using?

No one that would share their knowledge about what fuel filter they use??

Sorry, I had meant to answer you.  Personally I run stock style filters.  Not recommended but I have never had an issue.

My IROC was originally fuel injected, so I used the factory filter under the car.  My 67 C10, I uses a metal canister generic filter with 3/8 hose barbs on each end.

Here's the filter I use.  fram HPGC-1 flows up to 90 gph at 5 microns.

Hi Austin

That's what happens, but I'm grateful for all help you guys gives, we all must have time to other things to, but thanks for your information.

Would you say that a 10 micron filter after in-tank pump is okay, that's the only filter I'm using.

You might want to put a 30 micron before the 10.
