Software Update No Fuel Trim
600 non power adder system I’ve had almost 2 yrs on a small block stroker Mopar. I had the melted deutch plug syndrome and a bad tach driver, so I’m familiar with the Fitech game. I’ve also installed about 6 other systems successfully including a dual quad and go port. Of course, I have the most issues with my own car. This year I noticed an emi issue. I’ve done the shielding, grounded of course and moved wires around. This improved the situation to some degree. I have a set of Magnecore wires on the way. At any rate, another tech friend suggested I do a software update while troubleshooting. Austin sent me the tune and fitech also responded. After going through the download to the handheld, it was determined the card reader was bad. Fitech was very responsive and sent me a new handheld with updated software. I loaded it up and found it running without O2 correction. This is a new issue. Has anyone ever experienced this?
Are you getting any O2 codes?
No codes. Never had this issue until the new controller and software.
In the pro tuning menu, look in the AFR section. There is an area where trim and learn can be disabled. Maybe somehow it is disabled.
I had great success eliminating tach signal noise by installing a MSD noise filter across the power wires of my MSD. Not sure what ignition you are running, but you might be able to adapt one of these to your system. Bill
