Motor data: 410c stroker, Tko 5 speed Compression approx. 10: 1 Fitech GO EFI 4 (30001) injection system with ignition control Starter Remy 25223 OEM spare part rockauto ... Battery NEW Bosch 740A 80Ah If the engine is cold, the starter barely manages to start the engine .... or the starter turns normally, then suddenly it seems to me as if the voltage breaks down and it turns very difficult .. Sometimes the starter comes then even completely stopped The lights on the dashboard start to flicker, as does the radio. Then I turn the ignition off and try to start again ... then it works ... but not quite smoothly. If the engine is WARM, on the other hand, I have no problems. Engine oil is 10w40 Engine can be cranked normally by hand without spark plugs ... or no increased internal friction, piston play fits. I already suspected the starter, I have already exchanged it ... but the problem remains the same. have already put an extra ground cable to the starter, the problem remains. I took a voltage loss measurement + and - while starting, all ok had the battery tested some time ago ... then replaced it, problem remains had a battery disconnect in suspected .... this removed ... problem remains Wiring from battery to relay and starter NEW 35qmm Ground wiring body / engine NEW 35qmm Relay Motorcraft NEW I've already asked a few car drivers ... but they can't help me either. I suspect the timing control ... that it may fire too late when cold. can I change that? as I said ... when the engine is warm everything is great. greeting
Hi guys,
iam thomas from germany.
I have a problem, I do not know whether it is the starter or rather the Fitech. .
Motor data:
410c stroker, Tko 5 speed
Compression approx. 10: 1
Fitech GO EFI 4 (30001) injection system with ignition control
Starter Remy 25223 OEM spare part rockauto ...
Battery NEW Bosch 740A 80Ah
If the engine is cold, the starter barely manages to start the engine .... or the starter turns normally, then suddenly it seems to me as if the voltage breaks down and it turns very difficult .. Sometimes the starter comes then even completely stopped
The lights on the dashboard start to flicker, as does the radio.
Then I turn the ignition off and try to start again ... then it works ... but not quite smoothly.
If the engine is WARM, on the other hand, I have no problems.
Engine oil is 10w40
Engine can be cranked normally by hand without spark plugs ... or no increased internal friction, piston play fits.
I already suspected the starter, I have already exchanged it ... but the problem remains the same.
have already put an extra ground cable to the starter, the problem remains.
I took a voltage loss measurement + and - while starting, all ok
had the battery tested some time ago ... then replaced it, problem remains
had a battery disconnect in suspected .... this removed ... problem remains
Wiring from battery to relay and starter NEW 35qmm
Ground wiring body / engine NEW 35qmm
Relay Motorcraft NEW
I've already asked a few car drivers ... but they can't help me either.
I suspect the timing control ... that it may fire too late when cold.
can I change that?
as I said ... when the engine is warm everything is great.
greeting
