Starts then dies ( solved)
Quote from joecamino on September 17, 2020, 12:29 pmIf your unit starts up then immediately dies and then cranking again does nothing,, you need to check inside the throttle body to see if it is getting fuel. If not then you can try what I did. I was very upset and used the plastic end of a screwdriver and banged it against the ECM plate a few times and after that the car would start. This is NOT a fix but it let me know the ECM was faulty and I could move the car or get it back home without having to call a wrecker again. Hope this helps somebody out before they pull all their hair out and start slinging tools.
