Startup and idle issues
Quote from minagle on March 29, 2019, 12:06 pmI had the FIF-31003 installed. I have been driving a couple days. I know the system learns, but I want to know if I should try changing some settings. Engine is a new Chevrolet performance 290/350. 250 miles on it. The issues I have are:
1 - either will not start or keep running on cold or warm start without depressing throttle. Seems worse on warm start
2 - stalled on me 4 times today. Once at a red light. 3 other times backing out of a space after warm start
3 - hesitation on acceleration when cruising at constant speed
4 - slow idle in gear - drops to around 600 rpm, sometimes lower
Should I let it learn more, or tweak settings?

Quote from minagle on March 30, 2019, 11:14 amI’m running the electric fuel pump. No command center. HEI ignition. Yesterday I adjusted the idle screw to get the iac between 3-10 at warm idle. That has helped a lot. Was around 150. Cold start was great this morning. Warm start still struggles a little bit. Took a couple tries to get it started warm. Exhaust runs for several feet past o2 sensor. Probably 6 or more.
