Strange one

Last time I drove the car, it wouldn’t idle down correctly. Got around to checking it today and the cap on the 3/8 rear vacuum port was gone. No idea how that happened. I temporarily capped it (until I can pick up another one) and couldn’t get the IAC below 30, so the question, do I need to reset the learn and start all over again?
