sudden flooding

PreviousPage 2 of 2

update: Just read the ECU fault codes and it's throwing a po203 which is injector 3 fault.

Sometimes you can get an injector unstuck.  At your own risk.  You can get a replacement from Fitech for $35.

Make sure to use a 10 micron filter and clean lines/tank thoroughly.

Yes im using the Fitech kit with their pump, two filters, and their lines, drawing out of a newish fuel cell without foam. Ill pop the injector out tomorrow and see whats up.

I am having the same issue!

New fuel filter installed prior to FI tech installation?

About 1000 miles on the system?

Please give me a contact to resolve this issue system is less than a year old and just got the truck running a few months ago.

Before then the system was sealed in the box?

I have spark, left rear throttle body fills up while cranking?

Probably have to change my oil now!!!

Have around 200 miles on system. It ran fine then coming home it stated running very poorly sputtering on the hiway. Got to my off ramp where it died at the stop sign. would not restart. It would start for a second then die. Then it wouldn't even crank over. Had to have it towed home. Next day I pulled the plugs thinking the engine locked up. Got to plug on #2 cylinder (sbc 350) and raw fuel drained out. The engine was hydro locked. Took off the EFI and put my Street Demon back on till the issue is corrected.

Hey, new on here.  Fitech Go refi 600 on a 1969 351 windsor with a rv cam and long tube headers. Fitech is controlling timing with a 6AL box.  02 sensor is in the driver side just after the collector. System ran great since 2016 and now I have been having this issue since July. Went through tech and bought new injectors from Fitech. Replaced O2 sensor, replaced fuel pump with fitech 340l/hr in modified command center and cleaned 10 micron filter. I keep getting half of the TB pouring fuel and flooding while the other half is cycling fine. AFR reads 13.9 with black smoke bellowing out the back.  I checked the fault codes again and get P0201 and Po202 injector 1 and 2.  So this has been happening off and on since July.  If I turn the engine off and let it sit and restart it runs fine for a while?  Is this an ECU issue?  I am at my wits end and want to just start all over.

I do have a dual plane Edelbrock RPM 351 manifold, but it ran great for 3 years before this started. I am thinking of cutting down the center divider. No room for a open spacer.     ANY Help would be appreciated.

I heard you need a single plane intake, can't be sure of that.

My problem were stuck injectors, apparently these injectors are very perticular.  I installed the system on a fresh factory ford fuel filter at 10 microns.  This system is supposed to run off a fuel filter at that's more than 10 microns. I purchased a $150 racing fuel filter at again 10 microns, seems to have done the job.  Apparently this is a common occurrence.  The cost of the fuel filter should not have been necessary but it was.

Thanks,  I was shopping for a new 10 micron filter this am.  I talked to Fitech tech again and they are coming out with a new filter next month. I can not wait for that.  Looking at one from Summit. Lets hope this works!

10 microns seem small. Fitech's current filter is 30 microns. That was my basis when I assembled my system. I am using a Summit 40 micron pre-pump filter and Fitech's 30 micron filter at the EFI inlet. It may also have to do with the condition of the fuel lines and fuel tank, fuel quality, etc. That said, I only fill up at Top-Tier brands, unless in a bind.
