Tuning 5.3 Twin turbo Afr/timing verification

Hey guys, new member and very new to Fitech tuning.  My current build is a 67 Camaro with a 2002 5.3,  twin gt35.s .68 A/r, 8 psi external waste gates, with the standard (03) Ls6 cam, stock heads with ls9 head gaskets, trunion upgrade, gapped rings and most of the basic items to accept boost. Fuel system is the Fitech(Hyperfuel) 800hp fuel pump kit retrofitted into the stock gas tank with the vacuum pressure regulator port connected to the bottom of the intake. I purchased the 700hp ultimate ls kit and the install went very smoothly. I enabled the pro config setting, sent the Cam option 1 (figuring the ls6 cam is a stock cam) to the ECU and it fired right up after a couple cranks. Idles great, seems to rev smoothly. It has ran a total of 20 mins, I haven't pushed it above 4500rpms and have not drove it based on some brake issues.  So I understand the self tuning part is out of the question at the moment. I asked a local tuner and he recommends running a 14.7:1 AFR @ idle and about 11.2:1 @WOT as a conservative safe street tune for boost. He also says he likes to idle around 22* @ idle and WOT @ 10*

Fitech idle AFR comes standard at 14.7;1 but the WOT AFR seems to be... 1100 95kPa; afr-12.55 , 2700 95kPa; afr-12.65, 5500 95kPa;afr-12.05.  Does this seem safe to change? Also, is that previous Afr consider at WOT or am I way off?

Should I even mess with the timing? I'd hate to mess up my freshly built engine by ignoring some serious tuning issues here. If so, what part of the handheld can I accomplish this?

Last question, I cant seem to find anything in regards to boost on this handheld for tuning purposes? I found the boost meter gauge which is straight forward. The other only thing the tuner mentioned was if the 95Kpa was the limit on the Boost Map? Which I don't exactly know what he means by that?

FYI, the "Supercharged" setting is enabled under my initial setup.

Thanks for the help, I apologize for the jumbled questions. I'd hate to think everything was okay, then start driving it then cause more damage then good for being off on my initial fuel/timing settings of this engine.

I also can give logs of run time if requested/needed.

Although I haven't gotten my hands on an Ultimate LS system yet, I may be able to lead you in the right direction.  Tuning is very similar to tuning with carb with or without boost.  Your spark plugs will tell you what to do.  When dealing with boost it is always best to start rich and retarded, then slowly find the sweet spot.  Slow process but worth it.

As for the self tuning.  The unit will fill in the gaps and fine tune.  You will still need to work on Accel and Cranking.

Hope this gets you started.

how did everything work out? I have a similar setup on my 69 camaro but 403 twin turbo with 68mm. Would love to see a turn file or something. So far min is running lean at idle . Thanks
