Very rich when warm
i have 1966 impala 327. Ive installed the 400hp fitech. My problem is similar to others. If started with engine above 140 it runs so rich barely is able to run at all. If wait til cool runs smooths as silk. Others have said they did a software upgrade and cured tge problem. My software is verision 19817 is there an upgrade and how do i do it?
You have the latest Software. Now does it do it right after startup or does it continue the whole time it is running? Curious if this a cranking adjustment or something else.

It continues after startup with constant missfires. Only if started warm. If started cold runs fine for hours. Ill get datalog and post soon i hope it will idle for 30 seconds i may have to play with the gas to keep it running.
I have tried several times to make a data log but even after reading the directions twice i dont have a log_file folder on my computer. So no log file.
fixed the problem> I had to create the folder log_file then the hand held created a log file in it. here is the file with engine started at about 170. Im new to dropbox so I hope you can view this

What is your cam specs and cam selection of Fitech? Vacuum very low. IAC steps very high. And learn/trim not active.
Is this a new system? What kind of changes have you made to the default tune?
Yes new system. The only changes i have made were part of quick setup engine size, max rpm, idle set to 750, the cam is stock as far as i know i have tried cam set to 2 but currently set to 1. The log shows mode to be crank which dumps a bunch of fuel and set isc way up i think it stays in crank because rpm is less than 450 cause its runing so bad. I was thinking about changing the crank 170 to lower fuel what would be a good setting for that?
With a stock cam, your vacuum is very low. Look for vacuum leaks. Check all the caps on the unit. Your vacuum should be in the mid teens at least.
I dont think I have a vacuum prblem I think it is low in that datalog because the car was barely running at only 400 rpms.
I have attched 2 datalog the first is cold start just after started the second is cold start but after running 10 minutes and is up to temp still running smooth.
