Wont start with msd
Hi.
I got a locked out msd distributor 2 wire with a blaster coil and the 6al 2 box. Everything brand new. It's installed today on my sbc and I want fitech to control timing . My fitech has worked great and still does, but with new coil, distributor and box it just cranks and won't fire. There is also no electricity on the coil. The handheld is set to locked in the ignition settings, but it wouldn't save the setting..
Any tips?

I had this very same problem with the same equipment. Called Fitech numerous times to no avail. Finally returned my distributor to the un-locked state and hooked up the tach wire. Car fired right away and that's how I've left it. I'd like to go back and try timing control but I have no answers on why it didn't work.
