Yellow Fan Trigger Wire

Can the yellow fan trigger ground wire be used to activate 2 relays. I have purchased a twin fan setup that came with two relay harnesses . Thought i might be able to loop the yellow wire from one to the other but the wire is tiny.

Also why can't I log on to this forum via my phone?

Cheers Mark.

Don't remember if this has come up before.  You can try, but if you want to turn both relays on at the same time I would trigger them in series.  Use yellow wire to trigger relay 1.  That relay then triggers relay 2.

As for Log.  I assume you mean, why you can't post a log.

You must share the log using Dropbox.  If you need instructions, let me know.

when you use relays in series the relays should be 5 pin relays or in this case a primary 30a 5 pin and the second a 30a 4 pin the 5 pin has two activation pins or" load"   #pins 84 and 85 I believe just fyi

40 amp relays for fans.  You could use 4 pin relays on both.  Relay 1 would be hot to the coil and triggered by ground, yellow Fitech wire.  Relay 2 would be grounded to the coil and triggered by the hot from the relay 1 output or fan wire.  Never can remember the pin numbers.....😁

Thanks guys . I just tried doing what you said Austin and it works fine. What do most guys set the fan to come on above the thermostat  temp and switch off  . Im running a 180 Deg thermostat  .

In regards to logging on I meant about getting on to the forum. If i use my PC the logon button appears at the top of the screen. If I use my iPhone  or iPad  there no logon tab so i can't get on . I can only browse  .

Thanks Mark

On the mobile version the login button is within a menu, not like the pc version.
