I have had my fitech for a 1 1/2 years it is the 1200 power adder with the hyperfuel sys on a 545 871 blown beast, and it is my first system, I am a 30 plus year master ase tech and on 1 -10 I rate it 2 ways, first tunability and user I give it a 6, as far as drivability I give it a 8, i spent a long time getting the system dialed in, it took me 6 months to try and apply what I know from real world oem drivability and computer controlled cars and apply it to the fitech, on a blown application it is not end user friendly, unless you understand the fitech not so much regular fuel injection, they are different on the way the ecm gathers info and the base line tune, fitech has 4 basic tunes (fuel ) once you find the best cam setting (tune) you need to adjust from there if you are familiar with a general understanding of what you are adjusting 1 adjustment in one area will cause changes in others especially idle and IAC do not treat this syst like a carb it will fight you every step of the way I was ready to toss mine also, I took a step back and approached it as I explained get cam setting get idle get iac drive it then adjust drive it then adjust then drive it  yes it is a pita but once you have it idling good and normal driving is good then fine tune it mine now runs great now having a blower I half to cycle my fuel pumps 3 times to get enough fuel in the blower to fire right up and it does and it drive great I am making close to 1100 hp  and I have seen a lot of other after market fuel inj sys on other cars and after talking to a lot of these people each system has its own quirks fitechs instructions are not clear, tech support is slow, but this site is a god send a big success and the last thing I will say about the system is fitech will warranty stuff and you really HALF TO BE PATIANT when dialing it in

I tried very hard to be patient, but I couldn't help feel like I wasted my time and money on this system. I have owned a Fast efi system and an MSD on previous vehicles, both of them worked awesome, yes there was some days spent frustrated but with a little patience they ran like a top. Driveability and dependability was never an issue, and never left me stranded. I am NOT a master mechanic, and according to the sales propaganda you shouldn't have to be, these systems are geared for the average guy to install on his driveway, when it came to FiTech it has been a horrible experience. Nothing but vague answers from the tech department. "Could be a ground", "sounds like an exhaust leak", "could be a vacuum leak", "it's your engine not our system".  At the end of the day when I purchased the system I also purchased extended warranty, because I knew I would be installing for 6 to 8 months and that would burn up most of my warranty time. That was my saving grace, after banging my head against the wall all summer, I when back to the point of purchase to try to get some help, and it is when I mentioned I have the 2 extra years of warranty is when the dark cloud of FiTech was lifted. They took it back for a full refund, thankfully because it was hours away from being smashed to pieces or like "Tgjeep" said a very expensive paper weight.

Hi I am a new user. I have a two barrel fitech. I have been struggling with this unit for 10 months. I have set the steps so many times that I can do it in the dark with a paper clip and a junior mint.  It runs fine than for no apparent reason runs terrible. Now it stalls and goes lean when costing to a stop or a when you let off the gas to turn. Anyone want my EFI cheap? I also have a 30003 still in the box that I was going to put on a different project but because of this first one it is still sitting on the shelf. Any help would be appreciated before this unit becomes a paper wait or door stop. I have attached the last log hopefully someone can read one of these uploads and tell me what he issue is this time.

Man I feel your pain, my system was doing the same, and I wish I had some solutions for you. I hopefully someone on this forum can help you. When mine ran good (for about 5 minutes) it was awesome, but when it didn't (the rest of the time) it was horribly frustrating.
