I tried smoke testing my intake system but so much smoke escaped up past the throttle blades and out through the top it was impossible to check for leaks. Does someone know of a good way to seal off the throttlebody to contain the smoke?

I cut a circle out of thin aluminium, hole in the middle, double sided tape around the edge, a short bolt in the stud hole, worked a dream.

i cant seem to figure when i am getting this. I noticed when i coast it goes very rich (10.9) and i bearly touch the pedal it spikes to lean mostly 16 but have seen it at 20. I did have alot of play in the linkage. I took out the play and it didnt change at all. Is there a differnce in cfm size between throttle body, I have a 600hp 30002 on a dodge 360, it was adding tons of fuel. i brought the cubic inch to 500, and that brought my trims down to around 0. and it over all runs better. I just have that lean when bearly on the pedal. accel pump is maxed right now.

it sounds like a serious vac leak, also check and re-check ALL your grounds, what size cam are you running and how many inches hg is it making at idle
