Stumble from coast to accel

Page 1 of 2Next

I have a stumble when I change from a coast to acceration. Ive tried using fitech's help, youtube, and just trying to figure it out myself but have not got it to go away. Also randomly it will die upon hard braking. Any help? If someone wants I can email them data logs and my current settings. Just email me at tmdairy at hotmail.com Truck is a 89 Dodge with 360 with vary little upgrades as it is just my daily.

Thanks

Your stumble is usually an Accel adjustment.  Watch your AFR when it stumbles.  If it goes rich, lower your Accel in the temp range of the current engine temp.  If lean, increase Accel.

Your other issue can be a few things.  IAC steps, DFCO, etc.  Get a 30 second datalog at idle with engine temp over 170.  You can leave a Dropbox or Cloud link here.

Sorry it took so long. Here are a couple different logs. Ive tried adjusting accel pump but i feel like when i take off from a stop i have it set right and when i adjust it for more fuel i run rich on accel. It only goes lean and stumbles when going from coast to accel. My coolant temp says 143 whens warmed up but the actual engine temp is 185. I have changed my brake point for high to 120. Ive tried resolving this with fitech and it is a long story.https://www.dropbox.com/s/9ibp67qrtaizelh/DashBoard19.csv?dl=0

the temp sender you have to change don't use the fitech stuff the only way I got where I am I changed all components my first was the temp sender and things got better

what are break points theres so much stuff I don't want to touch because I don't know what they are lol

A bad coolant temp sensor will cause all kinds of problems.  Don't change a thing until you get a new one.  Get an AC Delco.  Same as 90s Chevy TBI motors.

Do ether of you have a part number for the temp sensor? I already replaced the one they sent with an ac delco that crossed with the part number fitech gave me.
