Quote from Deleted user on February 15, 2019, 10:46 amThe 250 is handicapped from the start because of it's intake and the head port design. Fuel distribution is not balanced whether carbed or EFI. We have a 230 in my Mom's 63 C10 that we have talked about installing a Fitech. I have accepted the fact that the system will not increase the efficiency much unless we do some extensive mods. It will make it more reliable though.
In your case, fuel efficiency may have some room for improvement. As you know fuel efficiency is a mixture of AFR, timing, and volumetric efficiency. At least in the case of the engine. Allthough your quest is a matter of trial and error, and at your own risk, I can give one piece of advise.
Your AFR reading is not calibrated to your engine. The number is simply a scale. I recommend you tune your idle AFR to your plug reading. Find the setting that gives you the best reading at idle and then you have a base line to work from. I usually start by adjusting AFR to vacuum like you would on a carb.

Quote from Deleted user on February 16, 2019, 10:37 amI answered on your other post. Must plug the handheld into the laptop. But, all of this is wasted until you update your Software.

If you want to share a Datalog, you must use Dropbox or Cloud to link here. Do not email me with datalogs.
So we are clear, I do not work for Fitech. I built this site so a community could help the community. Emailing me does not help the next user....
