would be good to find info in one place

Mine has a 3/8 and a 1/4 (currently not using the 1/4 but still in place)  metal lines to and from the tank so I assume I could use them. Since I have a pick up in the tank I assume all I would need is an external pump and EFI type flex lines. I have the curve on my distr in pretty good shape. Without a knock sensor what advantages are there to letting the FItech control the timing? It takes a lot of initial timing to make mine run happy. Thanks for the input!

How much horsepower at crank approx.  Those fuel lines will work in most systems.  I use in-tank pumps because they quieter, but everybody is different.  Plus an external can sometimes be a hassle to get mounted close enough to the tank.  Make sure the pump can take advantage of PWM.  With a pressure gauge you can lower power to the pump with 5he Fitech. Makes it quieter and reduces strain on pump.  Can explain more later...

I like to use timing control, because it allows me to dial in a curve with a few changes on handheld.  Plus then it catalogs your timing to help with troubleshooting.

I have 2 tunes saved in my 67 c10.  One for E85 and one for Super Unleaded.  Each fuel likes different timing.  I can switch tunes while getting fuel and not get dirty.  Sometimes I can't find an E85 pump.

Pzookey, definitely have an adequate return line with an in-line or in-game fuel pump.  I would not recommend the fuel command center in this application.  My engine bay on my 67 c10 gets super hot in the Texas heat.  Fitech runs flawlessly.

I already have the FCC and plan to use it. I will have the carb on board in case of a failure of the fitech. I have plenty of room Outside the engine compartment for the FCC and still plenty close to provide a proper feed so it will be away from the bulk of the heat. I may at sometime in the future go to an inline pump and a full blown return line when the big tank has to come out for repairs.

The engine is for street only use but with everything that is there I would bet it would dino about 600 or better at 5800 - 6500 but it will never see that. It is a 10.5 - 1 all roller 496, the cam is 110cl 248/254 @ .50 and  560/580 lift. Heads are Doug Herbert alum square port 320's with 2.25 and 1.88 and a Weiand stealth intake. I would have leaned more towards a more streetable  set up but the engine was new and I got a fair deal on it. Any going this weekend to buy a 3.73 posi set up which should help the low end. After changing the rear gear and seeing how it acts I will start looking at fuel. Ultimate goal is to improve the low end throttle response as much as I can with what I have.

This was my problem.  Info was hard to find when I installed my system.  The only good source was Facebook and then you had to ask a question that you knew had been asked before.  Here we will be able to search for solutions that have already posted.

Thank you!

I hope this forum becomes the primary go to.

I discovered it only a couple days ago, and have been going through and reading thread after thread.
