025 sensor

PreviousPage 3 of 3

I don't run relays.  As long as your pump doesn't draw more than 15 amps, run it directly off the Orange wire.

Fitech is correct.  I would get a 100psi fuel gauge so you can see what the fuel system is doing.  Should stay at 58psi.

Are you running a return line? You should if not.

The system is doing its job.  Something is giving it bad signals.  I would still like to see a 800rpm target idle and get the IAC steps around 15.

I know you are probably losing patience, but we will get this right.

Unplug your O2 sensor and see if issue continues.

Hi Austin

Unplugging the O2 sensor was the first thing I did, right before I replaced it.

Neither made any difference.

I have put the carb back on because I need to use it full time next week.

I will revisit this when I get back from Beach Hop.

Thanks Mark

Hey Mark

im in the same boat... I have a fitech system on my ford 460 and is doing the exact same things

i have changed the o2 ..checked for exhaust leaks...and still no change...

how did you go have you got your problem sorted ???

Any help would be great

cheers Ben

Hi Ben

The Fitech tech help line insist it is either an exhaust leak or a fuel pressure issue.

I have just had a new exhaust system fitted from the manifold.

I haven't put the Fitech back on yet and will update in a few weeks.

Thanks ark.
