High idle - high IAC steps

I tried to post this once but it didn't go through? I'm on my 3rd issue getting this unit working on my 68 Charger. The first issue was RPM noise due to the instructions not covering the MSD RTR tach wire. Once that was corrected and shielded, I had to reload the base file. I fought a fire but no start issue, until I reloaded again. Now it starts good cold or hot (IAC was set in the 3-10 range before the RPM Noise code showed up).

But the issue now is a high idle with high IAC when it warms to temp. Idle goes from 850 to 1100-1400 and IAC jumps to 225. I have a couple of log files and a trial Dropbox account. How do I share them?

When you look at the file on Dropbox, there are 3 vertical dots on the right.  Open that menu, hit share, and it opens a window.  At the bottom it says copy link.  Hit that and you should see a message that says copied to clipboard.  Come to the site and start a new reply.  Paste link.

How do you have your grounds?

Grounds: Battery to block. Battery to Chassis. Battery to body. Block to firewall. Black Fitech to block. Fitech base to Battery.

Double check your settings.  Remind me your cam specs.  Cam setting looks way off.  What do your plugs look like?

I have the cam setting on 3.

Basics on the engine.  Mopar 400 block with a 500 ci stroker bottom end, Edelbrock RPM heads and intake. Edelbrock hydraulic roller cam, 240/248, .540, 112 deg. Compression 10.8. MSD RTR distributor and SS coil.  Mechanical timing only. Dyno’d 583/635

Engine build is 3 years old and ran great with carb except for typical carb starting issues.

the only difference in the two logs are different days and the second I swapped out the IAC motor with an other fitech to see if that was the issue. I can’t explain the spark advance difference? Or the IAC step difference ?

Your AFR Learn is pulling a lot of fuel.  Try cam 2.  Reset learn.  Get us another log....

I want to be sure I understand how to reset learn. Is that afr learn? What are the steps? Thank you.

Any idea why the spark adv is so different in the 2 logs? Does it even mean anything since I am not using timing control?
