New member setting up a new system, 58 Buick.

Like it looses fuel or spark at cruising speeds, seems to loose power long enough that you start to pull off the road kind of thought or feeling, and then without hitting the key it’s fires itself and will go hundreds of miles without doing it again. That’s why I was hunting the PWM, Fitech thought that was the issue but this new system doesnt have it. I don’t think it did it during this log of course. It only did it to him once on the tour and it was once they were getting close to Dallas after driving the first 1,000 miles. It’s strange. The March serpentine kit and alternators have not been the best option but sadly the only option for this car. The temp sensor for the Fitech is right next to the water outlet in the intake and the thermal gun shows it to be pretty close but the radiator reads much cooler. It must just water log trying to get out the thermostat hole. We’ve changed radiators and water pumps trying to make sure everything is flowing right and it seems to be. Just trying to eliminate all the minor imperfections.

What you are describing does not sound like a fuel issue. I have experienced the same thing on my c10. It is random and just every so often. Never enough to be able to diagnose.
