Can anyone tell me what micron filters fitech uses with the frame mounted fuel pump? Is there anywhere I can get them besides fitech? Fitech is hard to get ahold of and I really don`t want to wait a week to get them. Thanks.

I mean they requires minimum 30 micron, but recommend 100 micron, which the one I use, I bought mine at summitracing.

100 micron before the pump and 10 micron or better after the pump.

I use a Corvette LS1 fuel filter that has a built in regulator set at 58psi. I have used this in 3 installs now and its perfect. I mount the filter about 12" away from the tank, run the supply and return from the tank to the filter and back and then I have one line going to the Fitech unit with a pressure guage inline and we always have 58 psi. AC Delco part # 19239926

This.

If you're running one of the 58 psi systems, this is the cleanest install for your fuel system.  Use it in conjunction with the FPR blockoff plug (listed above) and you're set.  Never thought I'd sing the praises of a GM part. 😆

I use the big can filter from a Ford Crown Vic.  It has the clip on connectors.  Billk

I think this is the filter that I use.  https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mof-fg872/make/ford

The funny part is, Tanksinc uses Walboro pumps. When ordering from Tanksinc and you mention using the FiTech there is a specific pump for the PWM. I've called Walboro and they say they don't have pumps for PWM. I just found it rather interesting. Thanks Austin for taking the time to put together this parts list. All the best,

I emailed fitech and they said it was fine with tanks Inc in tank kit

If you guys ever have an ECU fail on you, like what happened to mine after attempting to load the latest software, then you can order them directly from JEGS.  Just look in their search window for your fitech model number and put dash 1 after it.  Like 30012-1.

This guy was nice enough to post a video replacing his ECU.  I sure hope I don't have as much trouble as he did putting it back together.  LOL

It is now illegal to sell the AC Delco temp sensor in the state of California. It either: 1. causes cancer, or 2. causes climate change.

or 3. causes Covid.  Be sure to put a mask over your radiator filler cap, as recommended by the FDC.

I guess ca found better things to meddle with, like allowing people who aren't citizens to be police officers.  I just ordered the temp sender and didn't have an issue.  From amazon, even.  We'll see if I get it, maybe the postal police will show up and arrest me for interstate parts fraud.
