High idle - high IAC steps

I guess I don't know what RMA is....

Return Merchandise Authorization. They suggested sending the unit back and they would test for a warranty claim. I didn't want to do that unless I had exhausted all other options. That will probably put me out a month at the very least.

They are fairly quick about getting them back.

Send them some logs.  Keep me updated.....

Will do. I sent them two tonight.

Still waiting on a reply from Fitech.

Reading other posts I see some questions on Walbro pumps not compatible with PWM and comment about Tanks Inc using a specific pump when using Fitech. I told them that I was going with Fitech when I ordered my tank and pump. They did not recommend anything special or comment when I ordered the GPA-6 (High Performance Fuel Pump Module - 400 Liters Per Hour). I will contact the tomorrow to check, but I don't think that is the issue? It is a Walbro.

Got a reply today from Fitech. They said to send back. "There is an issue in software or ECU hardware. I am not sure but I know that the system is not adjusting at all."

I took it off tonight and will ship tomorrow. I will update through the process.

Got the word today. Bad MAP sensor and replaced ECU. On its way back to me. Hopefully I will have it by the weekend and another start up. Stay tuned....

Got it back from Fitech Friday. Reinstalled and started and ran for a couple of heat cycles today. Adjusted the IAC to 10-13. Seems to be doing what it should so far. Put in gear and went back and forth in the driveway. Seems ok. IACs go up to 50-60 but eventually return to 10-13.

Raining so no driving yet. Honestly I'm still apprehensive to trust it on the road yet.

That is awesome.  Let it learn.  We will get it dialed in once the Fitech does its part.
